Artist's Comments

this is inspired by Antonio Demasio's book Looking for Spinoza" Joy, Sorrow and the Feeling Brain. It basically explains the neurobiology of feelings and emotions, a really interesting read. Like, for example, did you know that the neurons on the reight side of your ventromedial prefrontal (a bit of your brain) are more receptive to negative emotions than that of the left side. This explains why a lot of left-handed people are depressed. also, the neurons for creativity and negativity are in the same part of the brain, which is why a lot of artists are depressed.

mmmmh....

hang on......

i'm a left-handed artist....

fuck.
